Started in 1987, this is the flagship company of our group. Promoted by Mr Kamal pasha, It was started with a placement of 500 birds and today the current capacity of Parent birds at Promoter owned companies’ amounts to a total of 5.0 lakh birds in brooding, growing and laying stages.
The company purchases Parent breeding stock from Vencobb and rears these birds till they lay the Hatching eggs. These eggs are sold across the country from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. We are the largest producer of these hatching eggs from Karnataka (Along with Standard Farms), producing over 1.5 lakh hatching eggs per day.
The Power division was started in the year 2011. We have Wind Farms spread across Belgaum, Chitradurga, and Gadag in Karnataka & In Jath, Sangli district in Maharashtra. Our total installed capacity is in excess of 60 Mw making us one of the largest renewable energy producers in the state. Our current investments in this business are in excess of 250 crores with a further planned investment of an additional 400 crores in the next 2 years.
We are pursuing wind, hydro and solar projects as our vision here is to be a part of and promote all renewable energy technologies. Apart from this we are also one of the first companies to sell the power to private companies, and our clients include top corporates like Narayana Hrudralaya, Wirpo, IFB, Columbia asia Hospitals, Metro, Total Malls, Aricent, Golden Feeds, I-gate and many more.
Started in April 2013, This Company is involved with the production of live chicken. With a clear focus to be the largest producer of chicken in Karnataka the company has rapidly ramped up production and is already the fifth largest producer chicken in Karnataka. The firm has already established 7 branches spread over various districts in as on date and is looking forward to increasing the same to 10 in the coming years.
Along with producing chicken, this division also owns and operates processing plants to process chicken. The business model is to sell processed and packed chicken to end consumers likeHoteliers and caterers and currently it is the third largest processor in volume rems in Karnataka and the 9th largest in the country.
Golden Hatcheries has been producing its own feed over these 2 decades, and have extensive knowledge on the various aspects of running a feed plant.However recently they decided to split this division into a separate branch as the feed activity had grown substantially. Golden Feeds owns a brand new 400-ton per day feed unit to cater to this requirement. The company would also undertake selling of feed to other farmers in case any idle capacity is there.
There is a lot of demand for good quality feed. The plant is located in Hiriyur town, Chitradurga district.Feed from this unit is primarily supplied to our own group companies like Golden Hatcheries, Golden Fresh and standard Farms as of the moment. This division is operating separately since April 2013. In addition to the pellet plant it also has an older Mash feed plant, producing 200 tonnes of feed. This plant was built in the year 2010.
Golden Infra is the real estate division of our company, involved in buying & selling of properties, and developing them. The vision of the company is to add value in each of the properties it owns.
